Weather dependency is the biggest one — heavy rain or extreme cold can delay appointments. Shops control their environment year-round.
Power can also be a factor at apartments without outdoor outlets, but a true mobile detailer (like us) brings their own generator and water tank to fully eliminate this.
Shop Detailing Pros
Climate-controlled bays mean weather is never a factor. Shops can also handle multi-day projects more easily — you drop your car for a full restoration and come back at the end.
Some specialty equipment (paint protection film install, dyno-style polishing setups) is shop-only.

Logistics. Drop-off, pickup, arranging rides, sitting in a waiting room. For a busy professional or parent, this alone is enough to choose mobile.
